Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy relates to products purchased via the www.thebikefitter.cc web store (the Site). The web store is currently hosted at https://thebikefitter.cc/shop although this may change without notice.  The content of the Site, including words and images, is owned either by The Bike Fitter (We / Us) or the brands/entities (Brands) represented on the Site. We and the Brands retain full copyright in our respective content. Users (individually, a "User") of the Site may also be referred to as You (and it's derivatives).

Shipping options and costs

The Bike Fitter only ships within Australia. Most countries will have their own local distributors and resellers in order to simplify local pricing and logistics. If You are unable to locate a product in Your region, We suggest to You look at the manufacturer's website in the first instance for a list of distributors and resellers.

We use Australia Post to provide standard and express shipping options. Shipping charges are determined by Australia Post and calculated at checkout, according to the amount and shipping method selected. We do not charge any additional fee above the amount charged by Australia Post. By default, shipping costs do not include insurance.

Free standard shipping via Australia Post is available on selected products and will be indicated in the product description. Free standard shipping may be available on certain combinations of products, or at times, quantities and values to be determined at our discretion and is subject to change.

You may elect to collect the product from our premises, in which case we ask that You allow at least 2 hours for the processing of Your order and contact us on 0438 622 621 before You commence your journey to collect the product. We operate a bike fit studio, not a retail store, so we may be unavailable at Your preferred time of collection. We will then endeavour to arrange a convenient time for collection.

Some products may not be eligible for shipping and You will be required you to collect them from our premises. This will be the case if dictated by our supplier or if the product requires specialist knowledge to install, configure or operate correctly. This will be indicated in the product description and arrangements will be made for a suitable time for You to attend our premises to collect the product.

Tracking and estimated delivery times

All orders placed via the Site are dispatched from our premises in South-East Queensland, Australia unless otherwise noted in the product description.

Please allow 24-48 hours for the order to be processed and dispatched with Australia Post. To track Your order, please follow the link provided to You in correspondence sent to You by Australia Post. For orders placed after 14:00 (AEST) Friday, on weekends or on public holidays delivery may be delayed as dispatch will not occur until the next business day.

Orders dispatched via Australia Post Express services will typically arrive within 2-3 business days from the time of dispatch for metro/urban regions. Please note that approximate transit times to your region are determined by Australia Post and may be subject to change. They are outside of The Bike Fitter's control.

Your acceptance of these terms

By using the Site, You signify Your acceptance of this policy. If You do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed as Your acceptance of those changes.
